Highly Sensitive People experience all their senses (including their 6th sense, Extra Sensory Perception) deeper than most people. They are creative, kind, and energetically aware.

But being highly sensitive is a real challenge. An argument that most people will forget immediately can leave a HSP reeling for days. Being in a noisy, brightly lit environment can put an HSP on edge, leaving HSPs stressed and feeling like a victim to the intensity of life. An HSP’s system gets easily overloaded, and sensitivity to food, light, sounds, smell, energy all go up. You still have to “survive” your life, so you keep doing things that need done. You end up in a cycle of “fight, flight, freeze” that you can’t seem to get out of.

So what do most HSPs do? Retreat. They want to be left alone to rest, read, to keep the world away. But we are living in this world, and almost every HSP I know feels like they’ve got a mission to fulfill. The world desperately needs HSPs who are attuned, compassionate, and creative to help others see and feel deeply the important things in life.

HSPs need a different solution that breaks the pattern of being in constant stimulation so their nervous systems can relax. One that gets them out of the brain's crazy pendulum swing whenever a decision needs to be made, so anxiety and remorse don't have a place to land.

Very simply, it’s time to learn how to recognize this part of you that’s been a “problem,” and turn it into a gift. You need to get help from someone who actually knows (and can feel) what it’s actually like to be you. And they need to get help from someone who knows and can feel what it's like to be an HSP.

I get it. I know what it's like to be an HSP because I am one, too. I can teach you how to move from being sensitive all the time to strong and still aware. How to move the intensity OUT OF YOUR BODY and relax into the natural flow of life. Turn that pain of that sensitivity into a gift of intuition, deep compassion and embodied leadership.
